GRADE PREP WEEK 6 TERM 3

REMOTE LEARNING 2020

17th August 2020 – 21st August 2020

READ ALONG WITH MRS MENHENNET!

This is week 6 of Term 3 2020 and all my Prep students are remote learning at home!

This is week 6 and your Specialists Rich Task is due at the end of this week. If you need the instructions for the Rich Task you can find them on the Week 5 blog post. If you can’t find the Week 5 blog post there is a link to it in the sidebar of the blog in the section called Recent Blog Posts.

Please upload your Rich Task into the correct Dojo or Seesaw folder. You also need to ensure you have submitted any other work for your  Specialist teachers that is evidence of your participation in remote learning, into the correct place.

The Visual Arts Self Portraits from Week 2 and Week 3 should be in their folders.

If you have already completed your rich task and uploaded all of your Specialist work here is a beautiful story for you to enjoy. It is called BEAUTIFUL OOPS by Barney Saltzberg.

Barney Saltzberg is a very clever author and illustrator. Here is a video of him talking to some students at school.

If you enjoyed the story or want to tell me anything else you can always post a comment at the end of this blog post.

If you don’t know how to post a comment I gave you instructions on how to do this last week.

Have fun,

from Mrs Menhennet

      Hi Likhita,
Yes, I think this is a vey special book.
It is the sort of book that students like to read again and again.
It is a good thing to think of a. mistake as an opportunity to create something new!

      Hi Senya,
The video won’t disappear from the blog post so you will be able to watch it as many times as you like.
It is one of those special stories that is good to read over and over again.
Do you have a favourite story that you like to read over and over again?
