This is week 8 of Term 3 2020 and all my Grade Prep  students are remote learning at home!

This week we are going to be doing some Visual Arts learning about LINE.

Wow! What a fantastic song about lines!

Last week you drew all sorts of lines.  If you haven’t drawn your lines for last week yet you will need to go back to the Grade Prep week 7 blog post for your instructions.

This week we are going to do something a little bit different,

You will need a piece of paper. Any sort of paper will do.

You can use pencils,

or crayons,

or textas.

I want you to draw a star somewhere on your paper. I know stars can be tricky to draw but try your best.

When you have drawn your star I want you to draw a VERTICAL LINE joined to the bottom of the star. You have now drawn a magic wand!

You are now going to draw all the magic streaming out of your magic wand using all different sorts of LINES – CURVED LINES, WAVY LINES, ZIG ZAG LINES all the different sorts of LINES you can think of.

Make sure you use lots of different colours and LINES and you fill up your paper with all the magic! Don’t forget DOTTED LINES and SWIRLY, CURLY LINES!

I can’t wait to see these magic wands with their magic streaming out all over the place! I will put a folder on Class Dojo and Seesaw Called Visual Arts week 8 for your finished magical wand drawings.
