REMOTE LEARNING 2020

READ ALONG WITH MRS MENHENNET!

This is week 6 of Term 3 2020 and all my Grade 1  students are remote learning at home!

This is week 6 and your Specialists Rich Task is due at the end of this week. If you need the instructions for the Rich Task you can find them on the Week 5 blog post. If you can’t find the Week 5 blog post there is a link to it in the sidebar of the blog in the section called Recent Blog Posts.

Please upload your Rich Task into the correct Dojo folder. You also need to ensure you have submitted any other work for your  Specialist teachers that is evidence of your participation in remote learning, into the correct place.

 The Visual Arts rainbow scene drawing from Week 2 and found object rainbow from Week 3 should be in their folders.

If you have already completed your rich task and uploaded all of your Specialist work here is one of my favourite stories for you to enjoy. It is called THE DAY THE CRAYONS QUIT by Drew Daywalt with illustrations by Oliver Jeffers.

The brilliant actor performing that read aloud of the story is Matt Chizever. His character voices for the different crayons are fantastic.

I tried really hard to find the same actor reading THE DAY THE CRAYONS CAME HOME without any luck. However, this actor does a great job of making the crayons come alive too. His name is Dave Edgren.
