This is week 7 of Term 3 2020 and all my Grade PREP students are remote learning at home!

This week we are going to be doing some Visual Arts learning about LINE.

Here is a story about all sorts of lines. It is called “Lines that wiggle.”

What an amazing book. I hope you enjoyed the story. There are all sorts of lines everywhere we look.

In this next video a teacher draws all sorts of lines on a piece of paper.

Now I want you to do a drawing showing me all the different sorts of lines you can draw.

You will need a piece of paper. Any sort of paper will do.

You can use pencils,

or crayons,

or textas.

At the end of the video the teacher asked you to do a drawing of all different lines after tracing your hand. You can do that or you can do the drawing she did at the start with all the different lines in rows.

You can choose how you do your drawing. Just make sure it is covered with all sorts of different lines. I also want you to  FILL UP THE SPACE on your paper with all the different lines that you draw.

I will put a folder on Class Dojo or Seesaw for you to put your Week 7 line drawing in.

Your Specialists Rich Task was due at the end of last week. If you need the instructions for the Rich Task you can find them on the Week 5 blog post. If you can’t find the Week 5 blog post there is a link to it in the sidebar of the blog in the section called Recent Blog Posts.

 You also need to ensure you have submitted any other work for your  Specialist teachers that is evidence of your participation in remote learning, into the correct place.
